Everyone is concentrating as each child learns to use his/her own keyboard. Some of these AlphaSmart computers were donated to the students by our friends at Homestead as part of the Electronic Pen Pal program in which the Homestead employees participate. The students will write letters on these keyboards and then send their e-mails to the classroom computer using an infrared beam. Each week faithful Homestead employees write to these students who practice their writing skills by writing back to their special friends. |
